MOSCOW — Two American astronauts and a Russian cosmonaut are on their method to the International Space Station.
A Soyuz rocket sporting the 3 males blasted off Wednesday from the Russia-leased Baikonur release pad in Kazakhstan. On board the tablet have been NASA astronauts Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold, and Roscosmos’ cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev.
The spacecraft is ready to dock on the orbiting outpost on Friday.
The trio will sign up for station citizens Anton Shkaplerov of Roscosmos, Scott Tingle of NASA and Norishige Kanai of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The new crew will spend about 5 months on the house station.
